Outstanding après ski and Austria's steepest piste

There is a reason the annual dance music festival Snowbombing is held in Mayrhofen. The Austrian resort nestled in the beautiful Ziller valley boasts a creative and funky nightlife and its skiing is absolutely fantastic. There are 159 kilometres of slopes just waiting to be explored and with the combined force of the Hintertux glacier and 147 snow cannons, complete snow coverage is absolutely guaranteed.

So you can plan your corporate event in Mayrhofen at any point during the season and still be able to get out on the slopes. Whether you feel brave enough to attempt Austria's steepest piste – named Harakiri and at an incline of 78% - will probably depend on how much fun you had the night before. It's practically illegal not to make full use of the après ski in Mayrhofen; retiring to your hotel straight from the slopes is not an option. Bars stay open well into the early hours with restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. The atmosphere is energetic and lively – it's going to be difficult to be bored in Mayrhofen.
