It's not all glitz and glam, but it's there if you want it

A favoured destination of the rich and famous, don't let its pricey reputation put you off. Courchevel boasts world class skiing and links to both Meribel and Val Thorens creating the Trois Vallées, one of the largest ski areas in the world with 600 kilometres of piste. Split over four villages, your corporate event in Courchevel could be luxurious and flamboyant or cosy and informal depending on where you choose to base yourselves.

The skiing moves between fear-inducing steeps to blissful corduroy, the crowd-free wide blues near Courchevel 1650 to the infamous couloirs off the Vizelle and Saulire peaks. So while Courchevel 1850 may host more people wearing Chanel than Paris Fashion Week, you'll still be able to experience some of the best skiing France has to offer.

Off the pistes and in the towns you can have a leisurely dinner in a traditional restaurant or party until 5am. Gourmet dining will depend on how flexible your expense account is, but there's no shortage of atmospheric eateries for all budgets with evenings frequently kicking off piste-side.
