Chamonix is livelier in the summer than it is in the winter, and the opportunities are endless, whether you want to climb up the side of a cliff, throw yourself off a mountain or deal with the rapids of cold glacial rivers.

White Water RaftingDay 1 - Rafting

From the airport, you will be driven through the Tunnel du Mont Blanc where you will have lunch in an Italian restaurant.

After lunch, and with several guides, you will raft down the challenging grade 4 Dora Balte. This is the ultimate rafting experience down one of the most famous and beautiful rafting routes in the Alps – can be quite a ride!

You can then be flown back to Chamonix by helicopter, taking in a stunning panoramic view of the Mont Blanc Massive en route.

Climbing in the mountainsDay 2 morning -Climbing School & Parapenting

After breakfast, you will be taken to Les Gaillands which is a natural 80 metre high outdoor climbing wall. Here you will be taught to climb, belay and abseil. A large ladder allows you to get great height and then abseil back to the bottom again.

Whilst you are doing this, groups of you will be taken away to the top of Brevent, at a height of 2000 metres. Here you will be paired up with your tandem pilot and you will make the few small steps to launch yourself off the mountain. You will paraglide for about 30 minutes, taking in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world before you land back in the heart of Chamonix.

 

 

 

Canyoning with Ten80 EventsDay 2 afternoon – Canyoning

Lunch will be taken on a beautiful terrace at Cascade de Bernard, overlooking the canyon. A zip wire will be installed for your guests to enjoy, but will they dare go through the waterfall?

After lunch your guests will experience the ultimate adrenaline rush! You will abseil down waterfalls, slide down water smoothed rocks, scramble over boulders, and jump into pools of white water as you work your way down the canyon with our qualified guides.

 

Wakeboarding in the mountainsDay 3 morning - Wakeboarding in Annecy

Wakeboarding is among the fastest growing extreme sports in the world. If you were to combine snowboarding and skateboarding with waterskiing and motocross, you'd get wakeboarding!

After breakfast you will be driven for 60 minutes to the picturesque and very historic medieval town of Annecy where you will split into groups to go out on the lake on your private speedboats for some wakeboarding. You can wakeboard, waterski, swim in the water, or just relax in the speedboat. Each of the boats has luxury seating, sound systems and drinks fridges. After returning to the shore you will enjoy lunch at the lakeside restaurant before returning to the airport for your return flight.

Chalet Chantel offers the best of both worlds, close enough to Chamonix Town to stroll to the array of shops, restaurants and bars, yet far enough away to escape the noise, hustle & bustle of this lively atmospheric town. Set in its own large grounds in a prestigious area of Chamonix, Chalet Chantel has wonderful uninterrupted views of the Mont Blanc Range and one of the best views of Mont Blanc and the Glacier. The chalet comprises of eight bedrooms with views of either Mont Blanc and the glacier or Le Brévent. Seven bedrooms with private bathroom/shower room plus a further bedroom, which may be booked in conjunction with bedroom 1.

The CastleOption 2 – The Castle

‘The Castle’ is a unique chalet that can comfortably sleep 20 guests. A chalet with 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms divided into three separate apartments, based in central Chamonix and just a short walk from all the bars and restaurants. All rooms have two or three single beds and en suite facilities.

Each apartment has its own spacious living area featuring a full kitchen and lounge with DVD/CD surround sound music and movie entertainment facilities. The two upper units have private balconies and all share the communal sun deck and outdoor jacuzzi at ground level.

Chalet Tissières, is truly a unique place, which is set in a spectacular location close to Chamonix town centre. At the foot of Europe's largest descending glacier, it is situated in the heart of the Chamonix valley.

Built in 1552, the chalet started life as a traditional French Alpine farm. Recently it has been renovated and converted into what it is today; a beautiful large chalet, with attention paid to detail, maintaining its original features, whilst offering all the modern luxuries.
