Mont Blanc Summit - Summer 2008Standing on the roof of Europe and looking down on the whole of the Alps !
This is an opportunity for you to be the first company in your industry to lead an event to the summit of Mont Blanc – a real media first !
Mont Blanc is not an easy summit but well within the grasp of many as the main difficulty lies more in fitness and stamina than technical ability.
It will take us 6 to 8 hours to reach the summit around sunrise to savour the magnificent view of
looking down on Europe!
The key to success on Mont Blanc is preparation: mastering walking on
crampons and acclimatisation are the main goals on the first 4 days of this course. Having the
necessary fitness is something you have to bring with you. Long walks, running, cycling or any other
cardio-vascular exercise are the best choices. The fitter you are the more exhilarating the climb will
be.

We suggest the Mont Blanc trip is run from a Thursday (day 0) to a Tuesday (day 5), ascent day being a Monday or Tuesday. This is a much quieter time of the week to plan an ascent as a large majority of ascents are made on Thursdays or Fridays, although this is flexible.
The quietest times of the year, which still offer good conditions, are the second half of June and the first half of September. However as our ascent day is organised on the quietest time of the week we can guarantee an enjoyable ascent anytime throughout the summer!
