Les Aiglons is a 3 star hotel, a 5 minute walk from the
town centre, located at the foot of the impressive
Aiguille du Midi.
The hotel was completely refurbished for 2009. The décor is modern; contemporary, stylish and uncluttered, but the hotel still feels warm and welcoming. As well as several seminar rooms, a bar and a restaurant, the hotel has it’s own spa boasting an outdoor heated pool with views of Mont Blanc, a sauna and steam room, beauty and massage centre and a small gym.
Les Aiglons has a four star sister hotel - Le Morgane - based only a few minutes away. A 20 person seminar room can be used or the conference rooms at Les Aiglons.
Le Bistrot restaurant was created by the locally renowned chef, Mickey Bourdillat. He spent 15 years as chef at the Michelin Guide 2 star Albert 1er restaurant. In a short space of time his talents have been rewarded with his own Michelin star.
Possibly the grandest hotel in Chamonix, this 4 star hotel
was founded in the 19th century, is based in the heart of
Chamonix, but is set apart from the hustle and bustle of
the town. The surroundings are its own floral gardens with
a heated swimming pool overlooking Mont Blanc.
This
hotel is stylish and full of charm, with highly professional
and discreet staff.
This is not a location able to accommodate large
conferences but is well suited to smaller conferences,
seminars and senior executive meetings.
Hotel Prieure The Prieure is a Savoyarde style 3 star hotel in central Chamonix with a solid background in hosting large groups and conferences. The conference room can hold up to 400 guests, and there are 6 break-out rooms.
The style of the hotel is very chalet-esque; light and spacious rooms with lots of sanded wood and fabrics similar to those found in cosy wooden chalets in this region.
In the chalet style wooden surroundings, around the open fire or in the garden, this is an ideal location to mix work and leisure.
Hotel Mercure Chamonix is situated opposite Mont
Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi.
The hotel is in the centre of Chamonix, near the train station, which gives you easy walking access to the vast array of restaurants, bars and clubs that Chamonix nightlife has to offer. The hotel offers a restaurant, a bar and meeting rooms.
The restaurant La Cordee proposes a wide range of local specialities: fondues, raclettes (melted cheese) and themed buffets. It’s terrace offers a beautiful view of Mont Blanc and the Le Parapente bar is ideal for a relaxing time after a hectic day.
A large section of Le Mercure has been recently refurbished and offers higher quality rooms and the new conference centre, is located centrally.
Hotel Alpina This modern 3 star hotel is centrally located in Chamonix, with arguably the best views of the region from its Vista restaurant and conference rooms on the top floor.
Entirely renovated in 2006, the hotel Alpina combines the welcoming warmth of wood and the modernity of its equipment, with the flexible layout of its conference halls which can hold up to 200 people.
Les Granges is one of the ultimate luxury retreats in the
French Alps with breathtaking views, exceptional
architecture, superior furnishings and great amenities.
Tucked away amongst pine trees in a secluded location, the
complex is a traditional hamlet of mountain pasture barns
around a baroque chapel, converted into 17 luxury chalets.
Each of the 17 chalets has 4 twin bedrooms with ensuites,
and stunning lounge dining rooms with plasma satellite
TVs. Each chalet has a decked terrace and it’s own sauna.
The main reception building houses a luxury spa with a
long pool, hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath, full fitness centre
and a tropical rain shower. It is also possible to pre-book a
multitude of treatments such as massages, shiatsu,
aromatherapy, etc.
There are various beautifully decorated bars and relaxing
areas, and the restaurant serves traditional French cuisine
with a modern twist. Breakfast can be delivered to your
chalet, or taken in the restaurant.
Transfers to Chamonix, should the conference be based in
a Chamonix hotel, take about 20 minutes each way.
A short walk from the Majestic Conference centre and the
centre of town, the Club Med Village in Chamonix has
three hotels; the Savoy, the Brevent and the Mont Blanc,
with 240 rooms in total.
There are 3,000 square metres of garden and great views
of Mont Blanc. The hotel has been decorated in a lively,
colourful original style, by decorator Jacques Garcia, with
the emphasis on warmth and sense of hospitality.
The complex has 2 Table coup de Coeur restaurants and 2 bars including a piano bar. Other facilities are offered such as the spa Cinq Mondes with sauna, steam room, massage and treatment centre, and a heated outdoor pool. Club Med doesn’t have a conference room inside the hotel but because of its proximity to the Majestic Conference Centre, it provides specific access and reservation facilities.
Dating back to the 1900s, Le Majestic was originally
a privately owned palace which 15 years ago was
renovated and transformed into a very grand
conference centre. All the traditional characteristics
have been conserved and inside, the rooms all have
extremely high ceilings with elaborate frescos and
sweeping corridors.
From the outside it is an imposing building,
guaranteed to impress, and the terrace and gardens
offer good views of the Mont Blanc massif. The
Majestic is situated in the centre of town, a few
minutes walk from numerous hotels, including the
Mercure and the Prieure, and particularly close to
Club Med and the Hotel Mont Blanc.
There are 10 meeting or conference rooms in total, of varying sizes, seating between 10 and 430. Staff here are absolute professionals well versed in the art and needs of international conferences.
