Activities also on offer

Chamonix is renowned for its winter sports, but the town is actually livelier in the Summer, with lots of visitors from all over the world, enjoying what the region has too offer; glaciers, mountains, lakes, beautiful weather.
There is no reason not to enjoy the environment whilst you are working here with so much to offer. Some activities that Ten80 reccommend are:-

  • Ice Trek on the Glacier
A spectacular cable car reaches the top of the Aiguille du Midi from where you traverse across the Panoramic Mont Blanc
lift which is the highest cable car traverse in the world connecting France to Italy. You will be kitted up with crampons, harnesses and ropes, and you will take an amazing walk out onto the glacier itself. The views are spectacular, whilst you walk on ice taking in crevasses, seracs and icefalls.

  • Golf
Why not play a round of golf at the local course whilst here. The 18 hole golf course at Chamonix was designed by the
world famous Robert Trent Jones Senior and is challenging with tricky water hazards and bunkers.
There are few courses situated within such dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes.

  • White Water Rafting
Whether you wish to experience the lively rapids of Chamonix’s own river Arve, or travel down the more challenging Giffre in the nearby village of Samoens, rafting is an ideal team-building activity that gets you and your attendees into the great outdoors.
Led by professional guides, you will steer your raft down rapids, into canyons and through torrents of alpine water. This is a thrilling but low cost addition to your conference.

  • Skiing
A half day of skiing is the perfect way to finish an amazing conference or working session in Chamonix.
We will kit your guests up with skis and boots or snowboards, and head for the piste.
We can organise instructors whether it be for beginners or for those who can already ski but wish to brush up their technique.

The range of activities on your doorstep in Chamonix are almost limitless.
